Twelve scholars from the College of Computer Science and Technology at Zhejiang University were recognized for their exceptional contributions in the field of computer science and technology: Cai Deng, Deng Shuiguang, He Xiaofei, Li Jiwei, Li Xi, Shen Chunhua, Song Mingli, Xiao Jun, Zhao Zhou, Zhou Kun, Zhou Xiaowei, and Zhou Yajin (listed in alphabetical order by surname).
It is noteworthy that the "2023 Most Cited Chinese Researchers" list comprises 5,801 individuals from 496 universities, enterprises, and scientific research institutions across ten subject areas designated by the Ministry of Education, spanning eighty-four first-level disciplines. Among these distinguished scholars, 233 researchers are affiliated with Zhejiang University, which ranks second among domestic universities for the number of recognized researchers.
The selection criteria for highly cited scholars are objective and standardized to ensure fairness and impartiality. Being included in this prestigious list signifies that these scholars have substantial influence within their respective research fields and have made significant contributions to advancements in their disciplines.
**Cai Deng**
Professor Cai Deng is a faculty member at the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, where he serves as a doctoral supervisor. He has received several accolades, including the National Outstanding Youth Fund and recognition as a top talent under the Ten Thousand Talents Program.
