Research Programs

To foster student’s creativity and capability, CCST organizes a wide range of and funded research programs each year that encourages students to work in groups to tackle challenging research problems and follow their research interests.

SRTP

Student research training program (SRTP) is a funding program for scientific research carried out by undergraduate students. The program manages a project-based funding system, and students will be granted funding after their research proposal has been evaluated and approved. This program aims at encouraging students to actively work on research in topics of interest under guidance of their supervisor.

National Program for College Students Innovation

This program is designed to encourage undergraduate students o carry out innovative research under the guidance of supervisors. Students will follow the procedures of design, preparation, implementation of research plan, and eventually exchange of research findings or outputs. It is targeted towards sophomore or junior students, who has demonstrated good academic performance, independent thinking ability and strong practical skills, with show strong passion for academic research, scientific activities or social practice. Multidisciplinary research and cross-department collaboration are highly encouraged. In 2017, six programs in the College of Computer Science and Technology were selected into the 12th National Program for College Students Innovation.
