A group of preeminent and inspiring teachers and scholars gather here at CCST, with the shared pursuit of educating future talents in computer science, conducting cutting-edge research in collaboration with domestic and global intellects alike, and producing industrial applications of CS technology with local innovation hubs to promote societal progress.
The College currently engages 3 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (PAN Yunhe, CHEN Chun, WU Jiangxing), 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (WU Zhaohui), and 2 Turing laureates (Whitfield Diffie and Raj Reddy (Honorary Professor)). Due to outstanding research and teaching achievements, 11 faculty members are selected into National Leading Talents Recruitment Program, and 9 faculty members are recipients of National Distinguished Youth Fund. We have 2 innovation teams on key research area appointed by Ministry of Science and Technology, and 2 innovation teams appointed by NSFC and MOE respectively.
