Graduate Students Achieved Outstanding Results in the 2nd China Graduate Artificial Intelligence Innovation Competition

From December 12 to 14, 2020, the finals of the second China Graduate Artificial Intelligence Innovation Competition was held in Changsha, Hunan. Since the launch of the competition in May 2020, 1122 effective teams from more than 200 universities across the country have signed up for the competition. 


After intense competition, a total of 78 teams have entered the national finals. A total of 44 teams from our University signed up to participate in the competition. After online preliminary examination, 5 teams from the College of Computer Science and Technology, 2 teams from the College of Control Science and Engineering, and 1 team from the Engineering College finally entered the national finals on behalf of Zhejiang University, ranking the first in the number of finalists among all participating universities.

 


In the final presentation session, the SMAP team led by Fang Qi, a master student of computer science, won the third place in the competition with his work on algorithm and application of 3D pose detection for multiple person. In the end, our University won 4 first prizes, 2 second prizes and 2 third prizes.
