To cultivate scientific research talents facing the demand of the future and the world, the Turing Class selects students with enterprising passion, academic excellence, strong hands-on skills, and who are determined to devote themselves to the career of fundamental computer science research.
In collaboration with the Chu Kochen Honors College, the Turing Class combines the teaching and research capabilities of the College of Computer Science and Technology and related departments to cultivate high-quality and innovative undergraduates with a solid foundation, research ability, and broad vision. In addition, students are expected to pursue further studies in a world-class university after graduation, and may become a world-class leader and strategic scientist in the fields of computer science, cyberspace security and artificial intelligence in the future.
Objectives
1.Students are expected to comprehensively grasp the core knowledge and technology of artificial intelligence, intelligent perception, intelligent design.
2. Students are expected to possess skills of engineering practice and scientific research practice; strong creativity and hands-on abilities; outstanding communication and leaderships skills.
4. Students are expected to have high ideological, moral and cultural qualities, strong sense of responsibilities, and a strong body.
5. Students are expected to possess a complete cognitive structure, strong will and resistance to frustration, good interpersonal relations and communication skills, mental health, optimism, and proactiveness.
